Arthur Simon is an actor, artist and activist. He graduated in Theatre from Oberlin College, studied improvisation at Chicago’s Improv Olympic and co-founded Austin’s ColdTowne Theater before creating a robotic theater group, Bot Party. After a decade of using the stage name “Arthur Simone,” he reverted to his family name in 2018. He is currently a Chair for the Travis County Democratic Party Precinct 122.
As film and television actor Arthur Simone, Arthur has appeared in everything from Big Momma’s House 2 to Dark Places. As an abstract expressionist painter, Arthur has been a regular fixture on the annual East Austin Studio Tour and has been a finalist for the Hunting Art Prize. Paintings can be purchased via Etsy.
